Consider joining and contributing any time you may have to make our building an even better place. Membership forms will be available at all of our upcoming orientations and open houses. Core Essentials Program

For the past several years, BCIS has used the Core Essentials Program to work hand in hand with our Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) initiative.  The Core Essentials curriculum reinforces the “Big 3”. These powerful statements will be shared with students and serve as the foundation of this program. The Big 3 are:

Treat others right.     Make smart decisions.      Maximize your potential.

We will continue to utilize this wonderful program. Students who are a part of our BCIS TV Crew will be speaking on these core values:

August / The Big 3: Treat Others Right, Make Smart Decisions, Maximize Your Potential

September / Courage: Being brave enough to do what you should do, even when you're afraid.

October / Knowledge: Leaning something new so you can be better at whatever you do.

November / Trust: Putting you confidence in someone you can depend on.

December / Joy: Finding a way to be happy even when things don't go your way.

January / Commitment: Making a plan and putting into practice.

February / Respect: Showing others they are important by what you say or do.

March / Humility: Putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve

April / Honor: Letting others know you see how valuable they really are.

May / Perseverance: Refusing to give up when life gets hard.

Communication

Please be sure to check out our BCIS TV Google Classroom to ensure you are watching all of our Core Essentials messages as well as other BCIS information:

I will also send home biweekly family updates this year.  These will come out on Remind and contain pertinent information regarding our school.

Let’s continue to cooperate and communicate with one another over the next school year! I truly believe that with a team effort and strong communication between parents and the school, we can make the 2025-2026 school year a successful one. I am looking forward to working with all of you, and I can’t wait to see your children walking the hallways of BCIS.

Sincerely,

Mr. Chad DeAngelo, Principal
