What Makes BCIS Special

Center Costume Winners: The Sandlot

The 'Sandlot' group was the winner in Center's annual Halloween Costume Contest

NEW RECYCLING CLUB

The new Recycling Club at Center Intermediate is getting off to a great start!  These students, grades 4-6,  regularly collect all the used paper and cardboard from every classroom.  In the first 3 months, they recycled as much as 800 pounds of paper.

“The kids are really excited about being ‘green’ so to speak,” said art teacher and recycling club advisor Kate Sears. “We wanted to do something special so all 40 students in the club stayed after school to make their own Recycling Club t-shirts–and of course each one is a shade of green, and very unique.”
