Students at Boardman Center Intermediate School enjoyed a special visit from therapy dogs, bringing smiles, laughter, and plenty of excitement to the building.
The visit provided students with a fun and calming experience, as many had the opportunity to interact with the dogs and learn about the positive impact therapy animals can have on well-being.
This event is part of the school’s efforts to prepare for Inclusion Week, which begins March 23 at BCIS. Throughout the week, students will participate in activities focused on promoting kindness, acceptance, and an appreciation for the unique qualities that make each individual special, while celebrating and respecting all abilities.
The therapy dog visit set a positive tone for the upcoming week, highlighting the importance of connection, compassion, and community within the school.
