👩‍⚕️🩺👩‍🍳Today was an incredibly hands-on Career Day at Boardman Center Intermediate School.👨‍💼👩‍✈️ 💥More than 30 careers were represented, and students got far more than just a presentation—they got real experience. They didn’t just hear about being chefs, they made crêpes. They didn’t just learn what nurses do, they practiced CPR skills. Students tried on firefighters’ gear, got a close-up look at police equipment, and explored careers in exercise training, brand management, sales, veterinary medicine and so much more. From one station to the next, curiosity was everywhere as students asked questions, tried new things, and imagined what their own futures might look like. A big thank-you to all of the volunteers who took time to share their careers and help make today such a meaningful experience for our students.

The BCIS 5th and 6th grade band concert was nothing short of incredible! From the very first note to the final bow, our students showcased not only their musical talents, but also the hard work, dedication, and growth they’ve put in all year long. It’s truly amazing to see how far they’ve come! What started as beginners learning the basics has turned into confident musicians! And what a perfect way to end the night! Their final performance of music from Star Wars had the entire audience smiling! We couldn’t be more proud of our students and grateful for our dedicated music staff who make moments like this possible. Boardman is an amazing place, showcasing our Academics, Athletics, and the Arts! Bravo, and "May the Fourth Be With You"🎶

Every day, our school lunch heroes go above and beyond to serve nutritious and tasty meals with a smile. Their hard work, dedication, and care do not go unnoticed—they are an essential part of our school community.

To show our appreciation, members of our Central Office team visited each cafeteria across all six of our buildings today to personally say “thank you” for all they do.

Not just today, but every single day, we thank you for keeping our students fueled, supported, and ready to learn! 💚🍎

🌟 BCIS March Core Essential: HUMILITY 🌟 This month at BCIS, we are proud to recognize students nominated for demonstrating Humility—putting others first by giving up what you think you deserve. What an admirable trait to be recognized for! These students lead by example through kindness, selflessness, and respect for others each and every day. We are also incredibly grateful for the staff members who take the time to see the very best in our kiddos and celebrate the character that makes our school community so special. 💚 Congratulations to our March Core Essential nominees — we are proud of you! All winners and the entire Boardman community are invited to join us tonight for BCIS PTA Give Back Night at Raising Cane’s! 📅 March 31 | ⏰ 5–10 PM | 📍 450 Boardman Poland Rd. Robinwood Elementary School did a FANTASTIC job raising money for the National Heart Association. This has been a school tradition for years, and this year was no exception.
They raised a total of $6,088 for Jump Rope for Heart!!
The students who raised $50 or more were in the $50 club and got to celebrate together with their bright green shirts that say "Lifesavers League".
They wore their shirts to school and enjoyed extra time in the gym signing shirt and playing some games with Mrs. Flores.
The money raised goes for research in the fight against heart disease!
